My niece's first birthday party is tomorrow. It's a luau theme. I guess it would be wrong to bring her a onesie that says, "I got lei'd at my 1st birthday celebration," but that's what she's getting.
Also, my sister is serving bagels. That's damn Hawaiian, Sis. I hope to visit Oahu one day so I can take that tour of the Lender's plantation.
I was supposed to clean my apartment today and buy something to wear to the birthday luau, but instead I took a nap and watched my 10th Billy Wilder movie, Sabrina. It was cute and clever and Ellen Corby, who went on to play Grandma Walton, had a small part as Bogart's secretary. Who could ask for anything more?
