Big Updates

1. Billy is not working out. He's Wendell again, cat-wise.
2. I changed the DVD in my computer! Instead of The Apartment, I went to sleep to Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist, the landmark Squiggle Vision Comedy Central cartoon.
3. I watched a horrible 1937 movie called Stand-In, which was a Jeopardy! question last week that I didn't get.
4. I also watched Winchester '73, which was NOT a sequel to Winchester the way Airport '75, Airport '77, and Airport '79: The Concorde were seqels to Airport. I was also a little disappointed that the film had absolutely nothing to do with Charles Emerson Winchester III.

Still, the Western genre is growing on me like mold spores on a dirty hotel bedspread. This particular film follows a prized Winchester '73 rifle as it makes its way back to its rightful owner, Jimmy Stewart. And Will "Grandpa Walton" Geer plays Wyatt Earp--Just like Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell, Henry Fonda, Burt Lancaster, James Garner, and dozens of other actors.

Someday, they are all going to meet in Heaven, where the real Wyatt Earp will host a reality show-style pageant to choose which actor portrayed him the best. And all the rest will be sent to Hell, or at least a lesser part of Heaven.
