Does anyone else find it totally creepy that Dave Seville would adopt three orphaned rodents as his own sons, dress them in matching mu-mus, and exploit their talents for music industry fame? I'm sorry, but there's nothing entertaining about Alvin and the Chipmunks. It's just plain sad.
ON ANOTHER NOTE
Did you ever notice on THE MUPPET SHOW, when the guest star wasn't of particular interest to the young folks watching, that Scooter would repeat the guest star's name about a hundred times at the beginning of the episode?
EXAMPLE:
(SCOOTER ENTERS DRESSING ROOM)
SCOOTER: Loretta Swit? Loretta Swit? Five minutes, MISS LORETTA SWIT!
