Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow

Here's a funny conversation I had with the cat a few months ago:

ME: Wendell, if you keep eating like that, you're going to be as big as a house.
Wendell (mouth full): That's a really good show.

I like to send letters to companies when I really like one of their products. I figure, I send out so many letters of complaint, as do so many other people; I might as well let people know when I think they're doing something right. I also hope to get some free coupons out of it, but really, I just like to see myself type, and I like the attention from receiving an email back.

Last week, I wrote a letter to Purina about their new product, Purina One Natural Blends Chicken and Oatmeal formula. I was very happy to find a decently-priced premium cat food that A) I didn't have to schlep to a pet store to buy and B) didn't cost an arm and a leg. I'm sure there are people out there that will tell me it's actually made with the remains of other cats and chickens infected with Asian flu and the ground up teeth of Freddie Mercury's remains. Whatever. He's a cat. He'd eat plastic all day long if he were allowed.

Anyway, here is the text of the letter Purina sent:

Thank you for contacting Nestlé Purina PetCare Company.

That's an awfully long name for a cat food product.

I have some of that food (obtained free through a coupon in the Sunday paper) for a cat who's staying with me now!
