Wendell
continues to eat and drink.
has yet to poop.
just had his pain patch removed. I had to wear gloves so as not to absorb any of the painkiller. I was supposed to flush it, but it's in a plastic baggy in the garbage, and that's how it's gonna stay. Hopefully I wiped any residue off with a baby wipe and none of it will seep into his scar. (Am I a hypochondriac?)
I am still figuring out how I'm going to get through the week. I may board him tomorrow; the main problem is, he's wearing this e-collar around his neck. If it's too loose (as it is right now) he can take it off and get at his incision. If it's too tight, he might try taking it off and suffocate himself. How am I supposed to leave him alone? How am I supposed to get any work done in the office wondering if I'm coming home to a strangled kitty?
In other news, I watched HANNAH AND HER SISTERS. I liked Hannah and 1 sister. No, no, I liked the whole movie, except the end, which was a little too uplifting.

Maybe you should watch "Born Free."
Can you take the day off? Can you work from home?
Please give him a pat from me. I remember our vet experiences when we had Shadow...you're managing this so well.
