At War With the Quakers

Email sent to Quaker Oats:

I am writing to express displeasure at the new commercial for Quaker Mini Rice Cakes. It features a young woman sneaking the rice cakes into a movie theater. Now while sneaking your own snacks into the movies is an American tradition, the unspoken rule is that you don't annoy other moviegoers with that food. So, you don't bring smelly McNuggets into a theater, nor do you crunch on rice cakes. What bothers me even more is that you SHOW the moviegoer bothering others with her cakes. I just don't think the best way to endear consumers to your product is by showing someone annoying other people with it.

I hate commercials like that! The ones that get to me the most are the ones where parents are encouraging their kids to act like brats. Argh!

All kids are brats and all rice cakes suck.
