My sister started a little bow business. . . you know, because taking care of two children under age 5, working part time, and supporting a busy husband were not enough.
Anyhoo, you can check out her bows, which I understand are for the dollying up of little girls' hair (and perhaps their dolls?) here.
And my cousin's wife, whose own blog can be found at Phatmommy.com, is running a contest where you can win one of those cute lil' bows.
As for me. . .
"Some night I'll step on their freckles.
Some night I'll straighten their curls.
Send the flood. . . send the flu. . . anything that you can do. . . to . . . Little Girls."
Wait. . . that song (from ANNIE) sounds SO much meaner in the context of little girls I actually know and love. But it's fun to pretend I'm drunk, and in the thirties. And Carol Burnett.

Shannon's your cousin's wife? Cool...such a small world! I LOVE her blog!
Off I go to learn about bows: my daughter's hair is just now long enough to put them in, and at 9, she's very much our girly-girl.
