"Your cholesterol is actually really good. I have to say, I'm shocked."
Her: So, instead of having one serving of mac and cheese, try having half a serving.
Me: So let's be realistic here. It'd really be, instead of eating 5 bowls, eating, like, 1 bowl.
Her: Do you like fish? Fish is really good for you. You should eat more fish.
Me: I like fish. I like macaroni and cheese better.

Hello from Michele! I like mac and cheese, too. If you do the boxed stuff, try this organic kind called Crazy Bugs. REALLY good cheese sauce.
Congrats on the really good cholesterol!
Me again... thought I'd respond here about the mac and cheese. *grin*
We love Annie's single-servings, too. Did she discontinue the white cheese mac and cheese, or is it my evil grocery??? Do you know?
Michele sent me this time, Carli. I had to use IE to see the letters down there. Firefox can't see them for some reason...
I don't like those box mixes of Mac and Cheese but I can eat an easy 5 servings at a time of my Mac and Cheese casserole. That's some good comfort food, Carli. If I ever went on a fish diet the pounds would just melt off of me. I'd never eat!
hee hee! that sounds about right! I love mac & Cheese too. :)
eat what you like, we all die anyway.
I love your sense of humor. I wish I could find the funny in my own world of diet and health. But I can't, so I'll simply be inspired by you.
I wonder... Is she talking or Filet'O'Fish from the Micky Ds McValue Menu vs. Kraft "Cheese and Macaroni?" I'm just trying to be clear about the relative health benefits involved, that's all.
Michele sent me on this dietary quest,
Mike
Sounds very similar to a conversation I had with my doc. Except he suggested substituting a carrot for chocolate. Sheesh!
Here from Michele's but thanks for stopping by earlier in the week.
Mmmm. Mac and Cheese!
Michelle sent me...
See? It's unanimous! We all love Mac and cheese!
(do I feel some fiction outtakes coming on! Somebody, stop me!)
The only fish I like better than Mac&Cheese is Salmon. :)
Funny.
Michele says hello!

We had mac and cheese for dinner tonight. We don't have it often, but it's one of the things my son knows how to cook when it's his turn to make dinner. (No, it doesn't come out of a box. We make it from scratch. I suppose I could find it in a box, in New Zealand, if I looked hard, but I never have).
Michele sent me.
