Paul Newman just handed over $10 million to his alma mater, Kenyon College. Kenyon is a small liberal arts college in Ohio whose star has been on the rise for years. Its cost has also been on the rise for years, and Mr. Newman's gift will pay for 15-20 scholarships per year. He's established a legacy that will mean far more to scholarship recipients than any movie he's made. (Although, they should all be required to see, say, four Paul Newman movies. The man really does have talent. . . not to mention gorgeous eyes.)
Rumor has it, Newman didn't want to publicize his gift. He only issued a statement at the request of the school, who hopes it will inspire other alumni gifts. Like I said. Nice guy, nice salsa. (Try the Teqila Lime. It's delicious.)

He is truly nice. I read a book that he co-wrote about his experience developing the sauces and such of his Newman company. His generous personality and humor were quite apparent.
Wouldn't it be nice to be able to hand out $10 million to some cause you cared about?
I'm proud to share my birthday with him (different year, of course!). He sets an example with his humility and generosity. Michele says Hi.
