Da Mug

Dear Suzy Q.,
I did not take your mug--your elegant, classy glass mug engraved with your name on one side and the "Missouri Bait and Tackle Shop" logo on the other. I did, however, find your mug. It was on top of the vending machine in the kitchenette. You remember the kitchenette? It's the place where you left your mug. Ooh, circular.

I love my mug. It was a gift from a very special teacher. And I ask all you readers of Dullsville: how suspicious is it that the person whom I accused of stealing the mug is the one who found it? That's all I'm saying.

P.S. the engraving says Bass Pro Shop, Springfield, MO and there is a great big bass jumping up out of the glass into a circle. Totally cool!

Don't believe a word she says! Suzy Q. should know by now I can't play a prank this long without owning up to it. I didn't take her mug. I have an aversion to etched-glass fish.

So, you're blaming this on Wendall?

I was going to say "I don't get it," but the comments have given me a clue. Glad your back is back. Michele sent me over to say that.

Does this fall under the guise of "the first smeller is always the feller?"

Michele sent me to investigate ;)

And I'm sure it's an attractive mug, and anyone would want to take it...

Oh, sounds like you have a Kitche Nazi as well!!

We have one here at work, whom if you leave ANYTHING there for more than a minute (God help you if your phone rings whilst washing up...) will throw it in the bin!!!

Here from Michele's this afternoon in Sydney!

Did you say Missouri? I work in Missouri, but I didn't see no mug. Thanks for stopping by my blog this evening.

And, hey! You MUST eat an apple in the summer. All the other seasons, too, because "...an apple a day, keeps the lawyers, er...doctors away." Remember?

Carmi: I'm sorry you are having a difficult time and i believe you when you say you didn't take someone's mug. Don't let it get you down. It just isn't worth it. why not swallow your pride and get in touch with the therapist you were happy with. That would be a positive thing to do and could be the start of an upturn.
Keep your chin up!

Au contraire! You just shifted blame by hiding the mug up there. Weasel!

LOL Actually that was me calling you a weasel, Carli. Sorry. I guess I'm going to blame low blood sugar. ;-)
