Who You Gonna Call?

BB sent me a YouTube clip last night of the Ghostbusters trailer. . . and that got me thinking of a few things:

1. I wore my Ghostbusters t-shirt constantly during the summer of 1984.

2. At my day camp, we did this competition thing where we
were all broken into groups by the month we were born, and we sang a
song related to that month in front of the whole camp. We sang the Ghostbusters theme. Obviously, October was the best month to have. I don't remember what song the March people sang, but it
had to suck.

3. I spent the better part of this morning trying to remember who sang the Ghostbusters theme. Suddenly, I thought, "Ray Parker, Jr." and I felt a little less like dying.

4. Then I remembered an episode of Gimme a Break guest-starring Ray Parker, Jr. And every time he asked to use the phone, half the cast would shout, "Who you gonna call?" (You may recall that the famous lyric to the Ghostbusters theme was "Who you gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS!")
