Click!

It's not just the name of a Season 3 episode of Brady Bunch (which I'm mentioning here to freak out TM, who doesn't read this blog, but recently learned of my savant-like sitcom memorization skills). It's also sort of the sound a camera still makes when it takes a picture. And this week, after meeting Oscar the Grouch and watching a Polar Bear rolling around with a pumpkin and seeing a giant Chewbacca made out of LEGOS, and realizing that no one reads this blog, I decided that I simply must have a new digital camera. (Not that I would even know if anyone is reading, since my counter has been broken and replaced with some sort of Florida timeshare ad for the past week.)

I also simply must have more $$. This is not the most practical time to be buying a new camera, but I'm not really practical :) I think I'm going to wait till Black Friday, hope for a good deal, and put my birthday gift cards (the ones to Target and AMEX; it's doubtful Old Navy or iTunes carries digital cameras) to good use.

EDIT: The Florida timeshare counter works again. And in the week that it was out of order, I had, like, 7 visitors. You all rock!

Seven is a Lucky Number, you know?
I hope you find a good camera---there is so much out there now, it is overwhelming....! But what better way to use your gift certificates...!

I've had my digital cam for about a year now and it's my favorite toy! I don't leave home without it. Have fun with yours!

I love my digital cameras, Carli. I don't know what I'd do without them. It's my most easily justified "luxury" expense.

I'm here! I'm one of the Group of Seven (sorry, couldn't resist a Canadian joke.)

Nikon's selling a great basic camera for something like $130 here in the Great White North. When the time comes, Google Talk me and I'll point you toward cameras that get the job done for cheap.

The beauty of digital: simple is always best. Some of my fave images come from the cheap Kodak that I've been trying to kill forever.
