What Should Carli Do? Take 2
Please vote on what I will be doing this Saturday. Remember, whatever you vote for, I'll do, which is why there's nothing totally crazy or unrealistic on the list like "Go Windsurfing in the Hudson River" or "Visit My Grandmother." I will, however, try to get more adventurous week after week; after all, the whole point of this is to move forward with my life. My hope is that someday, the choices will include something like, "Fly to Memphis." Voting is now open and will close when I wake up on Saturday.

Despite the fact that the Natural History Museum is personally one of my favorites, I voted for the thrif shop because it was a hold-over from last week, leading me to believe perhaps you really want to do this one.
Bowling would be fun, too. Did you know MidState Bowl closed?
On a totally unrelated note, it bothers me that this page makes me do a "WORD VERIFICATION" on a series of random letters. They're never words. It should say "RANDOM LETTER VERIFICATION".
Where are these "more specific details" I read so much about?
I heard John Edwards was going to be on this poll, but dropped out.
Why not go to that thrift store on Sunday? Being that it's close and is more an errand than an activity. There are many hours before the Super Bowl.
Organize some pals for a bowling excursion, it lasts a LOT longer. And one should always maximize the time spent in rented shoes.
The two museum options will split the vote.
Since you've already been to the Bronx Zoo, that will lose votes. Maybe Central Park Zoo for a future poll?
I swear, people, there used to be a mention of "more specific details" up there! Wow, I gotta stop taking six different kinds of prescription medication before bedtime.
I like how on the poll results, even the choices with zero have a LITTLE yellow sliver. Gives them hope.
It's just too bad they couldn't figure out a way to put some advertisements on that poll results page.
I voted for the Museum of Natural History, mostly because I think it's too cold for the outdoor stuff. You should save the zoo and Central Park for the Spring.
But, I strongly suggest that while you're in the Museum you go to the Planetarium. I love sitting in that dark room and looking at the stars!

I voted for the Musuem of Natural History, though I'm not sure if it went through. Make sure you bring your work ID & go to the membership desk, rather than the ticket counter, so you get get in free.
Carli - I voted for the museum. I don't care which one. Let me know if you're by Central Park. The dogs and I can meet you (did T tell you I just adopted a puppy from the same rescue group as my oldie, but goodie Sparks?) Anyways, hope to see you this week in the big CP! Angeles
I voted for Natural History Museum. I wish we had one out here in Vegas.
michele sent me
I'm gonna vote for bowling, just because I'd like to go roll a few games..
I voted for the random subway...it's a good way to discover little things about your city...even if you've lived there all your life!
Michele sent me to tell you that if you need more t-shirts, I can send you a bunch!!! I have way too many, and my husband would be more than happy to know I got rid of a ton! Let me know, k?
I voted for the American Museum of Natural History so that I can live through you vicariously.
And I agree, if you go you must visit the planetarium and tell us all how good it was so that I can cry about missing it when I was in NY last.
I'm here from Michele's.. hello!
I voted on taking a random subway because while there a million wonders in our world from our past, there is nothing like venturing into the world today and watching it, seeing it with the mindset that every step you take has a chance to be, in it's own way, historical.
Maybe not to everyone but you never know... so go create your own history and leave it for children and grandchildren that come after you..
And enjoy your Saturday.
I vote for the thrift shop because I agree with firefighting dentist—you really must want some new old T-shirts.
Does Michele ever visit anyone's blog?
I voted for the Museum of Natural History because that is what I would do tomorrow (oh wait, today, in maybe 7 hours) if I lived in NYC. But since I don't and have about a foot of new snow outside, I will be staying home and watching movies! :)
