ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DELETE?
I just deleted every recording on my DVR. Recordings that go back as far as June 2006. . . mostly movies. About 50 of them, gone. Four Billy Wilder movies, a couple Astaire/Rogers musicals, the movie my boss told me to tape because it was one of the worst movies ever made. . . all gone. Some I had to admit I was never going to watch, but some were painful to delete. But when it was all over, to not have this one thing hanging over my head, even if watching some of those movies would have been really enjoyable, was somewhat liberating. One less piece of baggage.

It reminds me of how I sometimes feel when I get magazines that I subscribe to piled up unread next to the bed. Even if I want to read them, when I get behind I get a little stressed about them just sitting there. Whacky.
