With my fascination for all things relating to U.S. colleges (unique majors, mascots, strange take-one-class-at-a-time systems), I decided to see if I can remember what colleges I applied to. And I succeeded.
Here is the list of 8 schools I applied to. I was accepted everywhere. And if I had to do it all again, there's maybe 1 school on the list I'd actually apply to. . . not necessarily because they're not very competitive schools (or weren't when I applied to them), but because none of them really fit my needs or interests. I also feel that, regardless of my dismal GPA, if every one of these schools took me, I aimed too low. Oh, well. Next life.
Middlesex County College (NJ, my local CC)
Castleton State College (Vermont)
York College of Pennsylvania (I went here.)
Monmouth University (NJ)
Rider University (NJ)
Franklin Pierce College (NH)
Western New England College (MA?)

Automotive Restoration Technology? How cool! If only I'd found one with a major for planning, implementing and then reviewing the ultimate motorcycle tours of the world.
