More good news: I found shoes that are perfect for everything I need (cushioning to help support my extra weight, correction of mild supination.)
More bad news: They're $120 freaking dollars!
I mean, call me old and curmudgeony, but that's a lot of money for shoes, no?

Tell ya what, I have such a hard time finding shoes that fit and are comfortable that I'd pay well over $120 if I had to. When your shoes are ill fitting, you wind up with knee, hip, and back pain...good shoes are worth every penny.
ohh, I love Asics. I used to wear them for volleyball way back in high school. I'm with thumper. My knees suck and I have to have good shoes or I pay for it and I always make sure I have an excellent pair of tennis shoes. Right now I'm in my Nike Shox. Look around, maybe you'll find a sale and if not, spend the $120 and celebrate your weight loss.
