General Hospital

I usually follow what's going on in Port Charles via GH spoilers online and catch the show every once in a while. . . if I DVR it I can scan through it in about 10 minutes.

Nobody could ever accuse a soap opera of being realistic. . . gangster delivers baby via c-section in broken-down elevator with help of computer hacker and online instructions (well, it helps that over a decade ago, said gangster was a pre-med student before losing his memory in a drunk-driving accident). . . woman goes into catatonic stupor only to be brought back to conscious living by an experimental drug, but only for 3 weeks during November sweeps. . . evil father-son team attempts to freeze the entire world with a special weather machine. . .

But yeah, it's a soap opera, it's not supposed to make sense. . . which is why I guess I get annoyed by the smaller unrealistic things, which makes me say out loud to a cat, "If the hospital was evacuated, and the patients had to be taken to another hospital, how is it possible that all these people are still able to get private rooms?"

Or, why is it that a mobster who kills people for a living and a neurosurgeon are the only ones in charge of clearing a hospital full of sick people with nary a firefighter, police officer or the FBI in sight (until like what seemed like 10 days into the crisis, or maybe 6 hours real time)?

Oh,and what about the V8 Spinelli was drinking to regain his strength?
