So some of you may remember me writing about how much I like using coupons now. No? You don't remember? I expect you to remember all of the minutia of my life! My cat's middle name!* My favorite Whitney Houston song!** My last online purchase!***
Anyhoo, today I was very excited that, between coupons and the evil bonus club that tracks my purchases and probably has surveillance cameras in my refrigerator, I saved $31.33 on my groceries, spending $44.99 instead of $74.97.
. . . Which brings me not-so-subtly to point out that in your Sunday paper this weekend, look out for a coupon section from Proctor And Gamble. Not only are there some great savings to be found, for every coupon that's redeemed P&G will donate $.03 towards clean water, vaccination, and puberty education in the developing world. Because I'm a coupon psychic, and also because the Jersey Journal puts their Sunday circulars in their Saturday papers, I can tell you the coupons are pretty good--Pampers, Swiffer, Bounty, Pepto, Pringles, Prilosec, Gilligan, the Skipper, too, Sleepy, Happy, Grumpy, Dopey, Sneezy, Bashful, Doc, and Jerry Mathers as the Beaver. Wait, where was I? Oh, yes. Get yourself a Sunday paper. They're fun to read, and the coupons are colorful and shiny and can save you money. And when you're done, you can make a hat.

I hope I'm that much fun when I'm older. Nola is some kind of cute.
I LOVE this lady! She reminds me so much of my Grandma Bennet and Aunt Esther. I was born in Indiana and Nola's accent and speech patterns remind me so much of the folks around those parts. I can't quit smiling at the memories...thank you for posting this Carli.
