I'm mainly posting this so that if people say, "Hey did you get your phone back?" I can say, "Read the fucking blog." For those not in on the backstory:
I left my phone on a bus in Wayne NJ on Sunday
Monday I found out it was at the Wayne garage, which is inaccessable by bus.
Tuesday they said they'd see if they could get permission to put it on a bus to NYC
Wednesday they said they were sending it to Port Authority, NYC
Thursday it never showed up.
Friday a whole bunch of shit you can read in the letter (and then some) went down.
My Phone Is Not Here: Are You Kidding ME???????
I have been spending the past five days trying to find a way to get my misplaced phone from Wayne, NJ to Port Authority. I won't tell the whole long saga; you should have it on file if you need to read it.
Today customer service got in touch with me, Port Authority Customer Service, and the Wayne garage where my phone was. I was PROMISED that my phone was being sent by George (at the Wayne garage) via bus to the Port Authority. I was told that a customer service agent would personally wait at the gate for the bus to arrive with my phone and it would be waiting for me at the NJ Transit office. Like an idiot I believed them. I showed up, and of course, my phone never showed up at the gate. Wayne swears it's no longer there--they sent it to Port Authority. So now my phone is gone. Thanks, NJTRANSIT!!!!!! May I assume now that I will never see my phone again?

Now that you have your phone back don't you think you should let everyone know that? And did you send these people a thank you note for going out of their way to help you?
