Sisters, Sisters

My sister turns an age today I don't think I'm supposed to publicize on the Interwebs. But let's just say it's a perfect square. Happy birthday, Jenn! Some things that make her a great sister:

1. I can call her and turn any episode of the Brady Bunch into something that happened in our real lives and she always gets it. ("Remember the last time Mom and Dad tried to sell the house, and we pretended it was haunted to scare buyers away?" "Remember when we went to that amusement park and I bought a picture of Yogi Bear and it got mixed up with Dad's blueprints for the park executives?")
2. She makes this amazing cranberry thing on Thanksgiving. It's like pie, only she serves it with the meal. And someone always says, "Isn't that dessert?"
3. She gave me two awesome nieces. I don't know where she got them from, but as long as they still get excited when they see me, who am I to report her?
4. We may not have a lot in common, but our shared love of fried calamari makes me feel like we really did come out of the same person.
5. She wasn't angry when I nearly broke her nose with a football. (See #1)
6. She signs her comments on my blog with a Facts of Life character's name.
7. She took me to Disney World in January.
8. When she lost her part as Juliet in her school's production of Romeo and Juliet for being too much of a diva, she graciously accepted a smaller role when Lady Capulet came down with the mumps. (See #1)
9. She hasn't sat on me in many years.
10. She got Davy Jones to sing at her prom.
