So I was at the grocery store on Saturday night. (It's where all us cool people hang out.) And at Shop Rite now, they have these video screens that show all sorts of trivia, recipes, health tips, etc. to make you forget that you're standing in a ridiculously long line and all of your meat is going bad. Anyway, one of the trivia questions on Saturday night was, "Which TV Dad said, 'A wise man forgets his anger before he lies down to sleep'?" And before they even gave the choices, I knew that it was Mike Brady, and I said the answer aloud. And of course, I was right, and the completely humorless guy in front of me gave me a look as if he was saying, "Here. I'm acknowledging that you got the right answer, even though I don't care."
I really should have left it at that, but, since this is me, I couldn't.
I had to go and blurt out, "It's from the season 1 episode 'Father of the Year.'"
The guy in front of me gave a half smile and then stared at his box of crackers, as if saying to himself, "I'm staring at the crackers; I'm staring at the crackers. Do not make eye contact with this crazy woman."
But really, knowing the episode name? That's a little impressive, no?

I had to revive our old debate about Tutti and the paper mache (sp?)head.
What's the old argument about the paper mache head?
