Hitchcock movies I've seen in no particular order:
The 39 Steps
The Man Who Knew Too Much (remake)
Young and Innocent
Saboteur
Suspicion
Spellbound
Notorious
Shadow of a Doubt (most recent, a favorite)
Strangers on a Train (love the carousel ending)
To Catch a Thief
The Trouble With Harry
North by Northwest
Psycho
The Birds
So, even though I've missed a lot, I'm at 14--double the number needed, according to the boss's boss, that I need to be a fan--although I'm very much lacking in the Jimmy Stewart/Hitchcock connection. I really need to see Rear Window and Vertigo.
Looking at this list, there's a few movies I don't remember all that well. I know I saw The Trouble With Harry, I know it starred Jerry Mathers as. . . the beaver. No, he played someone else. I know it was Shirley's first movie. But I don't really remember much about the plot, other than Harry was dead, and they come up with some quick resolution at the end. If you don't remember a movie very well, do you still get to count it amongst the movies you've seen? And if so, can you blame the fact that the movie was perhaps not so memorable?
