Over The Hedge

I saw Over the Hedge today, largely because its showtime was closer to when I got to the theater than CARS's. It was formulaic and a little annoying, but an okay way to waste 97 minutes.

I knew that there was a little Ferris Bueller style post-credits hoo-ha, so I stayed around for it. These are never all that entertaining, but I always feel that I'm missing something if I know there is one and I don't stay for it. Damn you, Matthew Broderick in your bathrobe!

Speaking of Ferris Bueller, I missed the first few minutes of FB when I first saw it because my mother decided to stop for gas on the way to Movie City 5. Movie City 5 has long since closed, but the chasm opened between my mother and I that day has only grown wider. No, no, I kid.

But really, I've never forgiven her.

ARe you into Xmen. If you sit through the VERY long credits of the latest Xmen, you will see a very important scene essential to the continuation of the franchise. Good stuff. I was not an Xmen fan untili I waited through the credits.
