Sometimes It's Fun To Be a Girl

because I get to see movies like The Devil Wears Prada and not have to make excuses for myself.

Even though I'm an Old Navy/Target/Whatever fits and is moderately clean gal, I really enjoyed myself watching this in my comfortable shoes. It was like The Secret of My Success, updated and focused on cutthroat women in fashion publishing instead of cutthroat men in, I don't know, I think they did something with trucks.

I loved Secret of My Success. I wish Helen Slater was still acting. It's not that I'm a huge Helen Slater fan, but she just sort of disappeared. She was in a string of movies in the 80's, then she had a small part in City Slickers and was in some Lassie remake, and now, she's just like, been sucked into an over-the-hill feathered-hair actress black hole. Where have you gone, Helen Slater?
