Today my mother came and we cleaned out my wall unit, getting rid of a bunch of videos and unopened credit card offers from 2000, etc. so I can eventually get rid of said wall unit and get something smaller. Cleaning days are better than they used to be; I make sure to clean up as much as I can before Mom comes, and she's gotten better and taking my messiness in stride.
This morning before she came, she said she was singing to herself, "What will this day be like," the first line of the song "I Have Confidence" from The Sound of Music (because she didn't know what kind of pigsty she was walking into).
I immediately hopped online, hoping to find a Family Guy clip of Stewie singing the song. . . what I found instead was this:
There's currently a reality show in England to cast Maria Von Trapp for a new production of SOM. Here is a clip of the top contestants singing "I Have Confidence." Do a search for "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria" and you'll find many more clips. Enjoy!
