A DIALOGUE ON ANNA NICOLE

ME: I kind of feel like this is when the terrorists are going to strike, and remind us of what we should really be paying attention to in the world.

SUZY: Are you kidding? All the terrorists are busy watching this crap on TV, same as us.

The Anna Nicole story gives channels with 24 hour news cylces something to focus on besides The War. Yikes! Not good. Anna Nicole died the way she lived: dysfunctional and misdirected. And, this would have been the fate of her infant daughter, I am afraid, if her son was any indication. Seemingly a sweet kid, though, but messed up emotionally, and no real goals for his life, it seems. Poor thing.

BTW: Thank you for stopping by my blog, and leaving a comment on one of my posts.

Your Movie List for 2006 is IMPRESSIVE. This was my goal by becoming a member of Netflix: to encourage me to watch more movies. So far, it hasn't worked. There is still a documentary on Akira Kurosowa on my DVD player.:)

That's an interesting observation. ;-')

I'm trying not to even know, but that is of course impossible. It's funny though... all that money made her so happy it killed her. Sad...

Michele thinks so too,

I often wish I could sit at the editorial desk of the 24/7 news operations to better understand what drives the flow of these places.

Then I realize I'd need to take a shower every 15 minutes if that were the case. These "news" operations can represent the worst side of media, and largely explain why we find newsies so odious to deal with.

Ick.

Anna Nicole Smith's death was the best thing that could have happened to the diapered astronaut gone wild. Knocked her right out of the news cycle. ANS is going to go on forever.............
