Let me explain.
I was at my cousin's apartment yesterday for an 85th birthday celebration for my amazing uncle, a brilliant, accomplished man who probably shouldn't be driving anymore.
And at one point during the day, looking at my cousin's bookshelf (packed with very intelligent-sounding titles), I said to some of my other relatives, "I want to be at a place in my life where a book called 250 Conjugated German Verbs is useful to me."
I mean, it was just so random. And I wish I was the type of intellectual person who would just have that random type of book sitting on my bookshelf, instead of what's really on my bookshelf: mostly, a bunch of DVD cases with the wrong DVDs in them. And I thought that was a funny thing to say, as did most of the cousins who heard it, except for one, who treats me like I'm retarded 99% of the time, and said, completely seriously, "Well, maybe someday, you'll get that chance."

Was this for Uncle Murray? I love me some Uncle Murray! T-Mo.
No, that IS funny (and oh my gosh...I had no idea there was even a book written about conjugated verbs!). The overly serious cousin comment only adds to the humor of the whole situation. I'll bet you enjoy yanking this cousins chain whenever possible.
