Yesterday I was mere seconds to resigning myself to yet another wasted day in front of a screen (TV or Internet) when I suddenly forced myself out the door. I went into the city and saw Juno, managed to get out of Barnes and Noble without buying anything, saw Charlie Wilson's War, ate at Goodburger, and high-tailed it out of the city just as the masses were coming in. When I got to the train station in my town, I saw dozens of people wearing uncomfortable shoes and suits and remembered what it's like trying to cram on a massively overpacked train after New Year's and I was SO happy to be going home, where I DIDN'T order Chinese food (yeah, me), and spent a quiet evening watching television unrelated to New Year's celebrations. At midnight, I enjoyed watching the illegally executed fireworks display outside my window, and I watched Frasier. Happy New Year!
I made it to just 126 movies this year, but I'm okay with that. Perhaps I'll do a full-year round up at some point (and update my list), but for now, here's a list of new movies I've recently seen, with grades instead of actual reviews, because I'm a little tired and want to get to Target to buy detergent.
Sweeney Todd A-
Steep C+
Charlie Wilson's War B-
Juno A surprisingly good B+
Before the Devil Knows You're Dead B
I Am Legend B+
So, yeah, I've been enjoying the movies I've seen lately. Mainly, I'm enjoying just going to the movies, since I hadn't been in a theater for two months.

Carli I've been on a movie kick myself. 126 movies...very impressive.
It sounds to me like you had an excellent day. Thanks for letting me tag along via your blog.
Mmmm... Goodburger looks good. Too bad we don't have one.
