"You're Not Actually on a Game Show for $200, Alex"

I love it when I do well on Jeopardy! Tonight I got 33 regular clues right, plus Final Jeopardy. The Final Jeopardy answer was "What is Boys Town?" which I knew from watching the movie Red Dawn. No, no, I got it from Boys Town--which incidentally, co-starred a very young Burt Metcalfe, who went on to produce the television show M*A*S*H.

A few days ago, there was a category about reservations, where the clue was a reservation and the answer was the state in which it was located. The clue was "Passamaquady." The answer was "What is Maine?", which I deduced based on my repeated viewings of Pete's Dragon, which takes place in a town in Maine called Passamaquady.

And Mickey Rooney was in both Pete's Dragon AND Boys Town. He was not in Red Dawn. That does not mean, however, that Red Dawn does not rock. It does indeed rock. Gee, I wish it was the eighties again.

WOW, you must really be a big movie fan to know about Boys Town. You should see the original movie with spencer Tracy, if you haven't already.

Michele sent me.

I didn't get that final jeopardy. Not a clue. I'm usually pretty good at Jeopardy myself. Except for science. I blank on those.

I always kick butt when I watch the show. But I know there's a huge difference between watching it from the comfort of my living room and experiencing the stage first-hand.

A friend of mine was on a few years back, and he said it was maddeningly nerve-wracking.

I love Jeopardy as well. I seem to collect stupid, useless trivia which will only be useful if I'm ever on Jeopardy.

Red Dawn was a cool flick.

Don't you love the knowledge you get from movies? I have been loving "Millionaire" because it has been movie week.

For some reason, I always think Pete's Dragon and Pippi Longstocking are continuations of the same story. Maybe because they both take place by the sea? And both are kind of terribly sad?

I don't know.
Okay, that's all.
